Overview

This document is an interview with one of the founders of MGGC, Tony Kelly.

Tony was the first Captain of the club.

Most of this document is published in the Golden Anniversary Publication (Item 2020.64.1). However, this is the original version of the interview and there is some unique content.

The interview was conducted by club member Max Hannah in 2014 in anticipation of the forthcoming Golden Anniversary celebrations at the club.

Tony recounts signifcant detail about the early days of MGGC, particularly in its formative period of 1966-1969 as well as his own personal career.
