Foundation Member Recollections

As part of the celebrations for the club's Golden (50th) Anniversary a series of interviews and recollections were compiled with many of the surviving Foundation Members. These members joined the club before the course was playable and had retained their membership throughout that period, which is quite an amazing achievement.

 

Some of the interviews were conducted by Dale Davies, a member of the Anniversary Working Party, others were conducted by Paul Sarich in conjunction with Archives Working Group member Frank Davies, whilst a few were hand-written recollections.

 

Some of the interviews were conducted by both parties as the earlier efforts by Dale Davies were unknown to Paul Sarich and Frank Davies. Most of this occurred during 2017 in the lead up to the 50th anniversary celebrated over the period 2017 to 2019.
