A square white tablecloth with yellow embroidered (hand stitched) names of local residents and service personnel in nine circles.

Historical information

This signature tablecloth, also known as an autograph cloth, was produced by Albany Leisure Hour Club in April 1918. The tablecloth was produced as a method of raising money through residents and service personnel paying a nominal amount of money to sign their name and then the signatures would be embroidered by the group.
