Handwritten message: “Presented to the City of Albany / by the Executive Officers HMAS Perth 1978-80 and artist Peter J. Blenkinsopp”
This print was donated to the City of Albany in response to the scuttling of HMAS Perth (II) in King George Sound on 24th November 2001. As part of the Western Australian Government's decision to award HMAS Perth (II) for use as a dive wreck, the City was required to develop an onshore interpretive display. A Nissen hut located at the museum was converted and opened to the public in early 2004. This print was presented to the City as part of developing the internal content of the building.
