Holland Track Newspaper Article

In the article are descriptions from John Holland's trek that he read at Bulong, Western Australia in 1906. The article gives interesting information on the trek, who was in the party and the conditions. The party reached Bailey's Find on the 18th June 1893.

The discovery of a route from Broomehill to the gold fields was important for the goldrush that followed. The party had covered the 320 miles in two months and four days.
