Overview

"Connect" the Exhibition Catalogue and notes for the 2015 Artist in Residence program commemorating the 100th anniversary of the initial landing at Gallipoli of 11 Battalion, Australian imperial Force.

Historical information

In November 2014, Michele Eastwood and Peter Dailey were invited to accept the Artist in Residence Program at the Army Museum of Western Australia. This program was created and funded by the Army Museum of Western Australia, the Western Australian Branch of the Returned & Services League and the Department of Culture and the Arts. Major funding from the Connect Program of the Department of Culture and the Arts allowed Michele and Peter to investigate the 11th Battalion Australian Imperial Force and create eleven pieces of art in response to this research.
