LACE 'THROWOVER"
1870Deep cream, pure silk circular centre surrounded by silk lace. (Maltese lace with cross and wheaters), Used to protect baby's head when out-of-doors.Stained and small holes in centre silk, some crochet work undone.
Kathleen Haynes was born in 1916 in West Perth. Her parents at the time were living at the Armadale Rectory as her father was the rector at St Matthews Anglican church on Jull Street. Had five siblings.
1918 family purchased a property/orchard on Seventh Road. Neerigen Brook flowed through it. Grew passionfruit, Princess apples, oranges, citrus, lemons, peaches, plums, Pears, nectarines and apricots. also had chickens and ducks and pigs
