Wembley Ware Collection

Overview

One of two Wembley Ware Blue fern pattern plates donated together.
Round Wembley Ware dinner plate glazed blue shading to white in the centre. Edge and reverse are clear glazed. On the top there are two decals opposite one another of ferns in shades of green, grey and gold. One larger than the other. The gold has mostly worn off.
Reverse: The reverse has a very slight foot with depression in the centre. Stamped on the base is 'WEMBLEY - QUALITY - WARE-' in a circle with a crown surmounting this and in the centre a stylised 'W B' woven together. There is some wear/scratching on the foot and the centre of the plate.
