Wembley Ware Collection

Overview

One of two Wembley Ware Blue fern pattern plates donated together.
Round Wembley Ware entre plate glazed blue shading to white in the centre. Edge and reverse are clear glazed. On the top there are two decals opposite one another of ferns in shades of green, grey and gold. One larger than the other. The gold fern decals are not so worn and the plate is minimally scratched.
Base: Stamped on the base is 'WEMBLEY - QUALITY - WARE-' in a circle with a crown surmounting this and in the centre a stylised 'W B' woven together.
