Washing Machine; Twin Tub with ACME Wringer

Twin Tub: Horsfall Washing Machine and Rinser - Twin open top designed galvanised tubs painted white, mounted on a four-legged frame painted blue. The agitator is an inverted cone shape which is connected to a hinged lever. The agitator is operated by moving the lever with an up and down motion. Made in Pingelly, Western Australia.

Wringer: ACME - A metal framed blue painted wringer is mounted centrally between the agitator-tub and the rinsing-tub. The wringer is fitted with a central overhead tensioning screw wingnut, gears and winding handle, and is clamped to the tub mounting frame. Made in Glasgow, Scotland
