Typewriter, Remington Standard No. 10
1914With the Remington 10 typists could now see their work as it appeared on the paper, without having to stop and swing the carriage upward as was necessary with the up-strike machines. The Remington 10 has a very open design, so users can see its workings as they type along: the type bars arranged in the U-shaped front-strike patterns as well as the machines sides, are uncovered. With a four-row keyboard and snazzy lettering and emblem over a shiny black finish, the attractive #10 became another Remington bestseller.
