Overview

This Breville Table Set radio manufactured in Sydney Australia in 1950 was used in areas that were not connected to the electricity grid and originally operated on 32 volts from a portable generator. This particular radio was donated by Mr. A.H. Smith of 10 Charsley Crescent, Marmion. It was used on a farm in the Wongan Hills area from 1952 to 1965 when grid power reached the area.
