Overview
This Foamite Ltd twin cylinder carbon dioxide mobile fire extinguisher was used in the South Femantle Power Station. It was purchased by Robert Gilbert in 1955. Gilbert worked at the South Fremantle Power Station and transferred to Kwinana Power Station in 1985.

Statement of significance
The extinguisher was used as one of two in the turbine basement and is the last remaining piece of firefighting equipment associated with South Fremantle Power Station.
