Rate book of Melville District Board for Bicton ward, for year ending 30 June 1953. Grey paper covered board with red leather binding on spine and corners. 'Rate Book' in gold lettering. Inside cover 'The Road Districts Act 1919-1934 Form No. 69'. Memorandum of making and levying of rates. Edges of paper make up colourful pattern printed onto it. Information included name, address, situation of property and amounts paid.
