Washing Machine - Manual, Simplex, c.1940s
Simplex 'Perfect Washer'. Tin barrel and pumping plunger on three metal tubular legs. Small tap located at the front base of barrel to release water and wood block on right hand side for wringer attachment.
Belonged to Zetta Andrews, and was used in an open laundry with fire and pots during the 1940's.
