The City of Melville Municipal collection (including Archives, Sound and Vision and Photographic) explores the social history of the City of Melville. The collection represents the stories of local residents, organisations, events, places and businesses.
The Heathcote Museum Collection explores the medical history of the site. After the closure of the Point Heathcote Reception Centre in 1994, the City of Melville commenced discussions with the State Government to restore the site for the people of Western Australia.
