Silver Chain Ball Dance Card
1953A blue card with a dark blue circle and dark blue shield in the centre of the circle. The card was white printed lettering on the dark blue background and red printed lettering on the card. There is a pencil attached to the card and a white card which describes the dress
Inside the card is a list of dances and places where names of partners can be entered. The dance card was used at most formal balls, girls would list their partners for the different dances. Boys would make a 'booking' to the girls of their choice.

Details
Around the inside of the blue circle in white printed lettering is "DISTRICT & BUSH NURSING ASSOCIATION INC." and in the shield is "SILVER CHAIN".
Below the circle in red printed lettering is "KATANNING Silver Chain BALL " and below is "15th JUNE - - - 1953".
On the separate white card handwritten in blue ink is "Name" followed by "Isabel Becker" handwritten in pencil. Underneath handwritten in blue ink is "Description of Gown" followed by "Lemon ballerina lace bodice, skirt spotted tulle over taffeta" handwritten in pencil.
The markings on the blue pencil are "1250 'Little John' made by Co? in Aus".
