GENERAL MEETINGS 1998

Two General Meeting were held in 1998.

The Special General Meeting on 25th March was called to consider amendments to the Constitution prepared by the Constitution Review Committee. These were passed by a show of hands.

The notice of this meeting was contained in Newsletter March 1998 (Item 2022.190).

The Annual General Meeting was conducted immediately after the Special General Meeting on 25th March. The proceedings included:

• Reports from all the Board members and General Manager were received and generated a few questions and answers.
• Elections for the President, Vice President, Vice Captain and Director of Finance and members of management committees were conducted. Nominations were not received for members of the Finance, Match and House Committees.
• The only item in General Business came from The Constitution Review Committee which advised of further possible Constitution amendments.
