This half of the building since demolished and now site of Chemist shop, next to Wendouree Tearooms.

Historical information

A clearer more complete copy of this photograph is reproduced in 'Toodyay - The Good Old Days' by Wally Chitty on p.168.
The caption dates the photo and notes, ' Mr & Mrs Oliver Whitfield at the front of their general produce store in 1900. When the building was extended in about 1928, this section became the dwelling and the shop was relocated to the western end of the building and renamed the Wendouree Tea Rooms.'
