FRANCES SYRED
c. 1860A black and white photo (copy) of a very serious looking lady sitting in a cane wicker chair to the left of which is a potted palm. Identified as Frances Syred (nee Martin).
She is wearing a dark floor length garment, over which is a ruffled lace, mutton sleeved [long] high necked jacket.
In her left hand she is holding a pair of spectacles and in her right hand what looks like a photo.
Her hair is parted in the middle and pulled back.
The back drop of this photo is very blurred.
Frances Martin (b. 6 Dec 1835 in Sussex, England) married William Edward Syred in 1853 in Perth, WA. She died 16 Jan 1928 at age 92 in Bejoording, WA.
