Overview

Exquisite and extremely fine buttonhole stitch and ladder stitch around the edge of the identical mats worked on pale green linen. Inside this, very fine white hand embroidery in a repeating floral design around the perimeter. Worked mainly in satin stitch. Flower petals are worked in pulled fabric.
