RING, RUBBER
Circular rubber ring. Rough cross surface on outside of ring.
The Armadale School building was built in 1900 as a resulting need to educate children in the area and a lack of a dedicated school.
The land was donated by the Saw family and built by the education department.
In 1987 the land the school was on was sold to make way for an expansion of Armadale Shopping City. Fearing the loss of local history the community rallied to relocate the school via transport jinker to the Minnawarra Historic Precinct adjacent to the Congregational Church.
