Subcollections
Overview

A black & white photo of a track laying machine and a large number of flat top carriers close behind, carrying and supporting the track pieces.
Many workers (including Thursday Islanders) are either side of the machine.
Dwellings are seen to the left of the work site, amongst trees (one in centre has large palm trees probably what was Fred Green's house).
A metal fence/barrier is to the right beyond the track, probably the footbridge.
