PUPILS & TEACHER AT NEWCASTLE (TOODYAY) SCHOOL DUKE STREET 1908

1908
Subcollections
Overview

Copy of a b & w photo of a group of pupils & teachers outside Duke St. School.
As this is a copy of an original it is not a very clear photo, but it seems that the boys & girls are in standing & sitting rows.
The Teachers, male & female are standing at the back. Part of a drum can be seen in right lower corner of photo.
The school building of brick & two windows make the back drop plus a banner with the Australian Coat of Arms. Four blackboards standing on easels are situated behind the group and against the wall, each blackboard contains what appears to be a chalk drawing in floral pattern.
