In the top left hand corner of the postcard in red typed lettering is "Katanning W.A.".
On the back of the postcard printed in grey lettering is “POST CARD” and below this line is "PRINTED IN GREAT BRITAIN" and underneath this line the card has two columns, the heading on the eft column is "For correspondence" and above the right hand column is the heading 'The Address only to Written her”. In the top right hand corner is a square with the words “Rate Postage Aust & Great Britain 1D Other Places 1 1/2 D"
On the back of the postcard handwritten in black ink is "Post Card from Arthur Carloon".
