Overview

Traditionally these shirt fronts were made by hand throughout Turkmenistan (and surrounding regions). This shirt front purchased at a Conference in 2017 has been made on a contemporary sophisticated embroidery machine in colours to suit local fashions of the time.

Many of these pieces are made in China and imported.
