B & W Photo of Alexander James Ferguson, his wife Sarah Elizabeth Ferguson (nee Waters) and their thirteen children.
Showing a family group of men and women, fifteen in all, some standing and others sitting outside a building, possibly the family home.
In the background is a whitewashed wall - to the centre of which is a double sashed window which is ajar. There is a shrub or small tree to the left of the window.
In front of this shrub there are seven adults (five men and two women) standing in a row.
In front of them is another row of four men and two women - all sitting in chairs.
One lady and one man are sitting crossed legged on the ground in front of this row.
The men are wearing suits and ties and the ladies are in long garments.

Former accession no: CH 164 (1890s)
Family names identified by Doris Martin in July 2014 who noted that Sarah was her grandfather's sister.
