1989 and 1990 Youth Friendship Series medallions - Australia v USA

Two Youth Friendship Series baseball medallions. On the obverse, these gold-coloured medallions have a laurel wreath outer border and a central resin disc. The disc has a black outer border with raised gold-coloured lettering stating the name of the series, the location and the date. The centre of the disc has a yellow background with the flags of the USA and Australia flanking the American eagle (the batter) and the Australian kangaroo (the fielder) with their arms around each other's shoulder. Behind them is a white circle with the words 'Aust. v USA'. One medallion is dated July 1989 and the other July 1990. Both medallions have a green and yellow striped, synthetic ribbon attached.
