Underneath the photograph is typed text explaining the man's involvement in the development of the Katanning Roller Flour Mill.
Charles Austin Piesse together with his brother Frederick Henry Piesse built the Roller Flour Mill in 1890, and it was officially opened on the 30th April 1891.
