TIN: GREEN LUNCH BOX - WITH LID, MADE FROM KEROSENE TIN
c. 1931(a) Tin box made from 2/3 cut down kerosene tin. Upper edge has been rolled back and flattened to give a smooth top. Outside is painted green over blue which can be seen under scratches. Inside is painted cream. On two sides can be seen stamped: 'TIN MADE IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA'.
b) Home-made lid which fits over top, handle centre top. Outside painted green, inside cream. Donor writes: 'It was used by Sea Scout E.C. Plues for food storage at weekend camps of the Sea Scouts No.1 Group, Pelican Point.'
