Historical information

This tea spoon and case was part of a suit of items produced by the City of Armadale to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the gazetting of the Kelmscott Road Board in 1894 that is today the City of Armadale. The spoon was made by Sonic Products. The 100th Anniversary included a variety of events from dinners to concerts held throughout the year. This spoon was purchased as a momentous of the event by Alf and Dorothy Cassely who were local residents.

Part of a collection of items produced to celebrate 100 years since the establishment of the Kelmscott Road Board in 1894 than has since grown with the local community and is today the City of Armadale. This collection is part of a larger collection of items that focuses on the history and impact of local government on the community.
