1960A 1960 Australian Baseball Team blazer made from green woollen material with the Australian Coat of Arms embroidered on the left breast pocket.
The 1960 Claxton Shield Championship was played in Sydney, New South Wales. Kaye Greenham was a member of the Western Australian team competing in the championship. Following the series he was selected in the Australian Team and presented with the blazer.

Kaye Greenham was a stalwart of the Western Australian State baseball team for almost 20 years. He was seen as one of the top Australian baseball players, whether on the mound, at the plate or in the field. Awarded the Australian Sports Medal in 2000, he was a 2014 inductee into the Australian Baseball Hall of Fame, and an inaugural inductee into the Western Australian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2021.
The loan of his 1960 Australian team blazer is a valued addition to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives' display of memorabilia showcasing the achievements of outstanding Western Australian players.
This rare, well-provenanced addition to the Museum's collection of Australian baseball uniforms is in good condition and has both historic and social significance.
