1860The lamp is made of clear glass and brass with the body of the lamp made to hold kerosene.
The body is rounded and sits on solid glass. It then tapers slightly and widens to a round base. Four external brass clips surround and keep in place the base of the chimney.
The internal wick holder is misshapen at the top and sits on a round metal piece with holes around the edge. There is an external wick adjustor. No upper wick is visible, lower piece is visible and is either leather or cloth.
The top edge of the chimney is badly chipped.
