Michael Cronin and Family
c. 1895An oval shaped sepia photograph of men and women beside a house. There are four people standing behind the five seated people. The men are all dressed in suits, white shirts and ties. The women are dressed in long dark skirts, and long sleeved blouses.
Michael Cronin and nine of his grown up family beside the vine-covered wattle and daub house 'Glencove'. Michael Cronin is the older man seated in the front row and on his right hand side of Michael is Mary Walter (nee Cronin); Mary is wearing the darker jacket and she died in 1974 aged 103. Information from Atosha (aka Maureen) Clancy, and her family history has Florence Cronin as the young lady in the back row. Atosha is a granddaughter of Florence. This information was provided to the society on the 10/2/2023.
