An oval shaped sepia photograph of a middle aged woman and man, on brown mat board and mount and set in a light brown wooden decorative frame. The frame has a oval shaped carved edging on all sides of the frame. The woman has her hair back from her face, and wis wearing a dark silky jacket, the man is dressed in a dark suit, white shirt, vest, tie and has a flower in the jacket lapel.

Historical information

The couple are Mrs & Mr W.F. Beeck of 'Garden Valley', they were early settlers in the Katanning District

On the front left hand corner of the photograph partly hidden by the mount is "F. Martyn KATANNING W.A.".

On the back hand written in black ink is "Dad & Mum, From Mrs Butterworth. F.W.Beeck"

On the back of the photograph on a pink label and in blue ink is "FRAMED BY F. MARTYN, ARBOUR STREET, KDATANNING. FOR SERVICE & LOW PRICES"
