Overview

Small body with a wide wing span, the upper parts are covered in fawn and grey feathers while the underside of the wings, body and legs have a covering of white feathers.

It has a hooked beak and eyes either side of the head. The legs are tipped by the talons and the stuffed bird is mounted on branch base.

Historical information

The animal died in November 1999 when it broke its neck on a shed wall. Treated by a taxidermist for display purposes.
