Inscriptions and markings
On one side of the mug is a raised square plaque with the embossed inscription "KATANNING 100 YEARS 1889-1989 COOPERS WESFARMERS",
On the base of the mug is a trademark with the inscription "Selangor Pewter 977."
Underneath the rim of the mug near the handle is embossed with the inscription "Selangor", then a shield with an anchor and then another rectangular mark with the inscription "MCMLXXXVII"
