Three B/W photos of family group, 4 people; elderly man, woman, child and infant.
a) Man, child, infant sitting on verandah steps with door in background. Man wearing work clothes, child cotton shirt and overalls, infant in baby costume.
Written or stamped on back: "Mr Art Bywater in photo/To Imele Art with love from Neil and Colin Dec 1947/10x6 Man only Busy Art (?) on Mr Frank Bywaters, Kurrel Outing/Poss taken at Goomalling or Toodyay/10206/'61".
b) woman, child, infant, same location. Woman wearing floral dress. View through door into breezeway. Child is holding infant and pulling a face. Written on back: "Neil 5 1/2 years Colin 6 1/2 months Dec 1947"
c) Woman, child, infant, same as b) but child blinking, infant yawning.
Written on back: "Neil 5 1/2 years Colin 6 1/2 months Dec 1947"

Historical information

This collection of three photos was found in a sleeve in the museum workshop along with two other photos now also accessioned as 2012.8 & 2012.9. It is unclear if there is a connection between them all
