Overview

A coloured photograph of Axon Street, taken from the Axon Street/Roberts Road intersection facing South. On the left side of the road there are two yellow blockades blocking off the road. One reads 'DETOUR' and the other reads 'ROAD CLOSED', both in black lettering. There is one tractor on the left side of the road and another on the right side of the road. There is also a third tractor in the distance in the middle of the road. In the bottom right corner of the image a red date stamp reads '18 11 '87'.
Reverse: A typed label reads 'Axon Street Re-alignment, Townshend Road Upgrading, 18th November 1987'. A handwritten inscription has been added to this label which reads 'Looking South from Roberts to Hay'.
