Overview

A coloured photograph of Axon Park (now Market Square) taken from the corner of Axon Street and Roberts Road. There are large piles of sand and dirt in the park. There are white bollards that line the outside of the park. On the left side of the image, a blue sign with white lettering reads 'CITY OF SUBIACO, AXON PARK'. The old St John of God Hospital building can be seen in the background of the middle of the image. In the bottom left corner of the image, the back of a yellow blockade can be seen. In the bottom right corner of the image there is a red date stamp which reads '18 11 '87'.
Reverse: A typed label reads 'TOWNSHEND ROAD UPGRADING, 18TH NOVEMBER 1987'.
