Railway Yard, Katanning
c. 1901A sepia photograph of railway tracks crossing a road. On the left hand side is a pagoda, there are wooden gates which are used to close the road whilst a train goes through the crossing.
The photograph is taken looking south down the tracks, as the F & C Piesse building can be seen on the right hand side of the photograph.

On the back of the postcard printed in brown lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with a heading for the right hand column of "ADDRESS ONLY" and in the top right hand corner a square with the words "AFFIX STAMP" in the square. On the left vertical side of the postcard in brown lettering is "Printed in Saxony".
