c. 1890A sepia head and shoulders photograph of a woman who is formally dressed. The woman has her hair coiled and tied back from her face and she is wearing metal rimmed glasses. The woman is wearing a lace shirt which has a high neck and there is a horseshoe brooch at her neck. The jacket is long sleeved and has a narrow striped pattern with a dark collar. The photograph is oval shaped, mounted on brown cardboard with a narrow yellow trim and framed in a decorative wooden frame.
The woman is Mrs John Holding nee Eliza Milton who was the wife of an early settler at Carrolup.
