A sepia photograph of a team of women's hockey players with two women officials standing at either end of the back row. The women sitting in the front row each have their hockey stick crossed over a woman sitting next to them. The woman's uniform is a dark short skirt with a dark short sleeved shirt with collar.

In the bottom right hand corner below the photograph in faded black typed lettering is "Robert Taylor Katanning".

On the back of the photograph handwritten in blue ink is "Donated by Mrs Tom Marquis - (nee Dorothy Slater) Belonging to Mrs D.Marquis Harris St". and underneath this is " Back row from left - Mrs Butler. Joyce Quartermaine, Unknown, Kyra Crosby, Unknown- Dolly Applin, Mrs A Slater. Sitting Anne Goodwin Lulu Land, D Cook (nee Pearce0, M. Pearce. Joy Jamieson, Nora Goodwin."
