Cloth patch worn by Red Cross Fireman

Overview

Circular, machine embroidered cloth badge or patch featuring a central red cross with the word 'Fireman' stitched in red underneath. It has a black border.
The reverse has a layer of cream coloured fine weaved fabric which covers the reverse of the stitching on the front.

Historical information

This cloth patch was purchased with the Australian Red Cross Society fireman metal and enamel badge. There is nothing on it to suggest when or where it was made and it appears unused.
