SIGN - BYFORD BOUNDARY LOCATION

Overview

Almost square metalic sign, with a cream coloured face side. The top half has [SHIRE OF / ARMADALE KELMSCOTT] written in black with a cream background above and below the centre motif, which has the stylised letters AK in cream with a red background.
The lower half originally had [DISTRICT OF / BYFORD] in raised lettering, but it has been covered over with adhesive paper, and now has a [TOWN of ARMADALE] emblem stuck over it.

Historical information

Road sign denoting the boundary of the district of BYFORD which came under the shire of ARMADALE KELMSCOTT ca 1970. The TOWN of ARMADALE sticker was added at a later date, between 1981 and 1985. ARMADALE has since become The City of ARMADALE.
