Cheynes IV Logbook From 3-6-78
A logbook using a soft cover 'Collins Minute Book'. Entries are in pencil and by different hands. The pages are ruled by hand. The book is blue with a black fabric spine, and decorated with circles on the front cover. The back cover is green and has the same pattern.
The logbook documents the last six months of whaling on the whale chaser Cheynes IV before the closure of the Cheynes Beach Whaling Station. The logbook has been stored in the archives from when the station was operational.
