On the front of the postcard at the bottom typed in white lettering is "Hon. F.H. Piesses Reservoir, Katanning".
On the back of the postcard printed in brown lettering is “POST CARD” and below this line the card has two columns and above the right hand column is the heading 'ADDRESS ONLY”. In the top right hand corner is a square with the words “AFFIX STAMP” inside to affix a stamp.
On the back of the postcard along the left hand vertical side of the postcard is “Printed in Saxony”.
