GRAMOPHONE: HIS MASTER'S VOICE IN BAKELITE CASE
c. 1945Case has splayed front and is decorated with three moulded panels running from front to back, reminiscent of Art Deco. Metal turntable, covered with fuzzy material, rests on hardboard. Tone-arm and on/off switch of bakelite. White raised logo of 'His Master's Voice' on front of case. Another logo with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd., Homebush NSW" appears on underside of lid of case.
