Historical information

The Rotary Club of Armadale-Neerigen was started in 1982 and was original called the Rotary Club of Neerigen. The club was made up of local residents who owned local businesses or held professional careers. They came together as a service club with the aim to raise money for causes that aligned with the values of the organisation. This included sponsoring visiting students from around the world.
The badge was produced to celebrate the international organisations 100th anniversary in 2016. It was made available to members of the organisation. Rotary International celebrated the organisations 100th anniversary between June 2016 and June 2017. The badge was aquired by a former member of the Armadale Neerigen Brook club.
