Slight scalloped rim bordered with three impressed ridges and gold leaf pinstripe. Central design features sepia portrait of Queen Elizabeth's face surrounded by British and Royal Standards with the caption "LONG MAY SHE REIGN OVER US / CORONATION OF H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II". Surrounding the central design - at the four points of the compass are small crossed flags and the caption "CROWNED JUNE 2ND 1953".
